Masskrugstemmen 2025 at Bavarian Grill Fridays & Saturdays @ 9:00 PM Grand Regional Final: Friday, August 1st @ 8:15 PM

Think you’ve got what it takes to hold a full liter of beer longer than anyone else? Join us for Masskrugstemmen, the traditional Bavarian beer stein holding contest!

How It Works: Hold a 1-liter Hofbräu stein (approx. 5.4 lbs), arm fully extended straight in front of you, parallel to the floor—no bending, spilling, or switching arms! The longest hold wins.

Competition Details:

Weekly contests held Fridays & Saturdays at 9 PM until July 26th

Winners qualify for the Grand Regional Final on August 1st @ 8:15 PM

Regional Champion must hold for 7+ minutes to win a trip to NYC for the U.S. Finals on Sept. 20th in Central Park

NYC Finalist Experience Includes:

Flight & 2-night stay at the Belvedere Hotel for 2

Champion Reception at Bierhaus NYC

Ride the Hofbräu Float in the Steuben Parade

Compete for the U.S. Title in Central Park

Commemorative T-shirt & spending money

U.S. Champion Wins:

Trip for two to Munich, Bavaria (excluding Oktoberfest)

Dinner at the original Hofbräuhaus

Previous national winners may not compete at the national level.
