From the end of April to St. Johanni’s Day in late June – Bavarians celebrate the arrival of Spring with Fresh White Asparagus, the Queen of Vegetables. The Bavarian Grill is the largest Importer of the XXXL White Asparagus into the USA. This year we anticipate to bring over 1,200 pounds to Plano, Texas. | This year we average 50 spears per 5 kg crate, that is about 100 g per fresh spear before skinning and all the other kitchen prep! And the diameter is minimum of 28mm, larger than a quarter.

As such, this festbier is brewed as a fuller-bodied helles lager with a slightly louder presence of old world hops instead of a marzen and is available to festivals year-round!

The world-famous Bockbier from the Holy Mountain in Bavaria wants to be savored rather than downed. It is a special treat even for the nose: Soft roasted notes and a touch of dried fruit accompany an accentuated caramel aroma. Doppelbock Dunkel from the Holy Mountain of Bavaria is pleasantly sparkling in its presentation.
